Satlobo is very good for North.
what receiver are you using?
Got 1 month of satlobo north on NFHD and the service has been down 90% of the time, when it has been working it freezes pretty often.

That is completely untrue. Better check your setup.

Don't go with any of them. Anyone I mean anyone in here advertising and selling iks puts himself at risk and you put yourself at risk. Buy a sub share it with 6 people that's a pritty big package.. Just my two cents thrown in iks will soon be no more the man will drive it under ground and that is where it is going.

I agree that your idea would be much easier. But I think a lot of us on here enjoy the hobby itself. It's not just about getting all the channels. For me personally it's more about the testing part of it and seeing what works and what doesn't. At the end of the day there are more important things than worrying about getting all the channels for "free".

It is not a hobby anymore it's a business. Not like back in the day when you needed some PC skills to load a bin or a avr board or a 3m it's no hobby it's a business which is going to be gone soon. I have been in this hobby back in the Cband days with the black box then you needed to learn how to do things to get it to work that's a hobby. Not like today buy a box put your info in a box and watch tv. Iks and a few more old timers like myself said it would and it has taken the hobby to a business which it is.

Seriously, you can't call pirating tv a hobby and unless you are a beta tester you really aren't testing anything. It's all pretty much plug in/set up and play.

And if you want to test buy a small motor and a 1 meter dish and a good ku band LNb lots of free to air to test up there.

Now take that and then you can start testing various boxes to see how and what their capabilities are using a motor. A sure fire way to get your blood pressure up. Now that's a hobby. lol

Well I guess I was told. Personally I do enjoy trying different receivers and different setups and just playing around with them in general.

This topic is depressing ppl here come to check what's new and exciting and not to hear that it's going down and I should get a hub...It's disgusting to know what these sub charges for 30 basic...

depressing or not wouldn't you rather here the truth than swallow a line of hogwash and end up in court paying a lot more than $60 a month? If you don't like it then don't read it but acting like an ostrich and sticking your head in the sand won't change anything
