Both link I read when I was at my mom's house followed all the instructions and after reboot I get the same warning again, another thing I think I'll try is reverse what spybot did or use the backup spybot made before the scan.......still any ideas? keep them coming. Turbo

think I would try reinstalling the babylon toolbar and then uninstall it the proper way and see if that helps

Try a restore point, or a complete re-install , i know its a pain but i do them quite often, once a month

If you can go back to an older restore point do that then google= Malwarebytes = its free = use that to do a full scan then remove
all it finds that's in red, after that send me a PM, I have an extra code for malware full paid version.

You will still need to do a search of the computer for Babylon and then manually delete the remnants.

Thank you all guys, tried everything nothing removed the warning message, I used system restore point and restored the laptop the day before I used the spybot, from there I'll start again cleaning the spyware and other junk the laptop has but looking very closely I don't delete the App module again, thanks always...........Turbo

He he he he he he now it is worst, I used spybot only click fix babylon problems, everything else I removed the check mark so spybot doesn't touch it, it didn't touch anything else only the babylon stuff the log after clicking fix showed me all the baylon stuff removed but 2 of them showed a red x and error next to it, that is it I can't do anything else, I'll re install the w7. turbo

I would run Malewarebytes. It's better than spybot in my opinion.
Either way, a reformat is always good.

There is a specific way to remove Norton. Do a Google search and you will find the instructions.
Instead of wasting more time though I would just F disk the thing. You probably would've had it done by now.

You have a bigger problem the just the Babylon tool bar, the "Python ----.dll" is a virus related problem.

The only way I have been able to fix somethings like this is to remove the hard drive from the laptop or PC and run it on my test bed as a USB drive. (you can get USB external drive enclosures for this)

Then do a complete virus, malware, spyware sweep with the drive out of the system and not booted up.

Then once all the nasties are removed you re-install the drive and then do a CCleaner on the registry.(I can do one from the test bed)

This is one way, or a format (C drive only) and reinstall is another, but be careful as some HP laptops need the total re-install disks to do this right.

And while this is all going on I keep a .44 magnum pointed at the drive under test, it scares the virus out of the drive.

most HP now have a partition on the c drive for a full install back to factory settings. it would be like getting the laptop again.

Another program to run would be House Call by Trend Micro, a free program . Norton would be one of the last ones i would use, a resource hog, that site i PMed u a few days ago would of got you running and has many of the best free anti virus suites out there...its your call or time.............and just to add if you want to completely remove Norton you will have to go to there web site and D/L there removal program to COMPLETELY remove that software.. just a FYI
