If anyone is using NFHD with Goo3 on Satlobo, I could use some pointers on the script. My neighbor just took my old NFHD and they are freezing every 10 seconds on the north.

Thanks

It's an issue with your receiver, I'm using DLHD and no freezing working perfect, has been for many days!

Well that means that NFHD boxes are no good, I haven't had any freezing problems with my NFHD for month until the last 10 days or more and now constant freezing and if there is a problem we are told it's at your end!

Can you describe the issue? Does it freeze and then work fine if you switch to another channel and then back to the original channel that was freezing?

Freezing during peak traffic hours. Server takes too long to return CW

I had occasional hiccups on my nfhd with lobo, so I tried the above

Man, not sure what that did but I got more disconnects and after that my SSID stopped broadcasting, 2 hrs trying to fix I gave up..now I have LAN but no SSID on that router

Bad coincidence but I blame u anyway :tape:

I'm having the same problem. The past week has been wicked. Its not only Satlobo though, and its not just the NFHD. I'm running goo3 with an NFHD and a NF solaris. Oh, I'm sick and tired of rebooting every thing, so that's no solution. I'm running Satlobo & Tutu. It doesn't matter which receiver I put the providers on I get freezing. The NFHD is worse though. The funny thing is on the solaris I may get tons of freezing on one channel & turn to another channel with the same program (say Arrow) & no freezing at all, but with the NFHD that doesn't work. Oh, South is not like this, only some freezing.The next thing I guess is to play with goo3 settings.

Update: holy crap what a difference changing 1 number can do in my settings in goo3 were. I can finally watch the north movie channels, but of course peek time is not here yet.
server_timeout=10
server_retries=0
ignore_caid=0
log=1

I changed the 10 to 12 that went from bad to worse. I then changed it to 8 & wow what a difference. No freezing on the movie channels in 40 mins. Believe me this is one hell of an improvement, & on both recievers. So it must be a goo3 issue, or as stated above the NFHD is garbage.

Update #2. Well its the start of peak time here & the news is not good. Unbelievable freezing on the NFHD.

Now its freezing about every 3 min on ch 400 north and it comes back after 20-30 seconds. If its the receivers then I must have the worst luck when it comes to receivers. The NFHD, the SV8000, and my new T5 are all freezing on this channel. I never had any of this during the first couple of weeks of my sub. Then it all started. Now I have to get another service to get something watchable.

well turned out my WIFI hubs died on me... wasn't getting any connection from router to my receiver. I had a spare set of hubs, switched em and immediately started working.

the hubs caused me so much frustration!

In the past 24 hrs Satlobo has gotten rock solid & Tutu has fallen apart. This was tested on both the solaris & NFHD showing its not on our end all the time & the NFHD receiver is worth having as long as u have a good P$.
