The President is the world’s second largest known tree in the world, standing at 247 feet tall and still growing. It’s located in the Sequoia National Park and is 3,200 years old.

‘We know that there are trees that have bigger trunks, but when you add up all of the wood beside the main trunk – all of the limbs, all of the branches, all of the bio-mass above the ground – this tree is likely the biggest,’ said Steve Sillett from Humboldt State University.

The General Sherman is the largest tree, standing 275 feet.

I've seen this tree myself, and when you look up there's no ending. It was truly exhilarating to stand next to, and there's nothing quite like a walk in the forest surrounded by Sequoias. It's an experience like no other. Share this with your friends and family, these trees deserve to be admired.

Here is the widest tree in the world.. It's a 2000 year old Cypress in the town of Tule, Oaxaca, Mexico.......More than 14 metres across, and has a 58 metre girth. It is estimated to hold some 800,000 cubic metres of time and to weight more than 600,000 tons.
