I seem to have quite a few very common channels that are not working for me. Channels like A&E, Comedy, Toon Retro, just to name a few. They were working once upon a time, but not now. I have rescanned, rebooted everything, and rescanned again, but nothing. The channels are there, but do not work. any ideas? Suggestions?
I started a similar post ref. Satlobo. Same problem since Thursday ECM. However, channels that worked yesterday do not work today.

E C M happen regularly and missing channels follow. You can discuss it all you want but it will not make them appear. Suggestion> Wait a couple days and rescan. If that doesn't do it wait longer. In some cases they are gone for a while. Eventually they will be back.

after a ECM it takes about 3-4 days for all channels come back....thats the same on all IKS providers.

I'm use strictly BEV. I'm only assuming it's the same for both north an south?

Belive that would Be The Problem, Some Older Boxes Dont Take To North Very Well, Prolly Need to Manually Update Transponders
I see. I don't know how to do that.

no harm in rescanning...
95% of the time its not needed as the channel hasn't changed VPID/APID, or TP's or jumped sat

UPDATE.... I did a factory reset, and set my TP Setting to Auto. After a couple of scans a couple of hours apart, I now have most of my channels back. A couple still misiing, so I will rescan later hopefully they will come back. I think the key was TP Setting to Auto.

after a factory reset, auto TP on or off makes no difference, as the channel list is a fresh one

years ago when competition was plenty. several fta boxes actually had this feature working. and what a great feature it was
as far as I know the only one that still has it working properly is old sonicview boxes.
when this feature works there is no need to rescan channels.
when channels were moved to another sat or TP,
all you had to do is go to that channel and the box would auto find the new location

auto TP feature has nothing to do with the server
