Network Problem with file v251

I just noticed something of interest. With the new file my LAN reports that the MAC address is 00:00:00:00:00:00! That is probably why so many people are having problems connecting via LAN. I'm running a DD-wrt Router which obviously doesn't care what the MAC address is as long as it has an IP. Some other routers may be picky.

I tried it again with my v1, but mine populated the MAC address with other than zeros. I think the issue is the DHCP settings on the box. I turned it to OFF, using a static IP address that was assigned, and I'm connecting to a server.

Thanks for the update. I read 251 improved the PVR. Sounds promising.

Today I tried file v251 on my V2 - jb200 and ATSC coming from v137. As others had wired network connection problem , I also faced them too (I don't have wireless). No matter what I did, it did not connected to router. DCHP on or off with manual ip entries, no go. Restarting and rebooting everything from modem to rcvr in order, no connection. Reset to default setting, no wired network connection. Went back to v143, boom network connected. Again re-installed v 251, again no wired network connection. So its confirmed wired network does not work on file v251.

We need new fix or use the old file for wired network connection. As other says wireless network works fine, though I haven't checked it as I don't have.

Thanks guys. I just uploaded the V251 file and am now running the same issue of network not being connected. I currently have the wired network and have the Jynxbox V2 with JB200. MY question is how do we connect wirelessly to the network do we need a wifi USB attached to the Jynxbox or something else. I have a wifi LG wifi USB at home does that work with Jynxbox?
