Using a jinx with Dvb tuner can pick up the pbs transponders fine and the hd on 11800 , can't pull in the 11740 transponder anyone else have this issue? Thanks FYI on north east coast using 36 inch dish LNG 10750 forgot to add can pick up sd trans 11980

You have to within the footprint for that transponder.

Also only one transponder is active into North America for that provider.

Look at the footprint map below, select the "Caribbean" footprint, zoom into your location, and then click on it, this will give you an estimated dish size needed for this satellite at your location.

My location using a 1.2M dish can pick up 11979V, 11740V, 11760H, 11780V, and 11800H. However I am pretty much in the footprint for this sat. 36" dish maybe too small for you, satbeams works pretty well for pointing info, however the size of dish seems to be very underrated. Says I only need a 60CM dish however for a factory install, they put up a 1.2M dish just for minimal programming. I see on north eastern US coast they say a 36" is fine, I would prolly double or bigger number that.

Both you guys thanks for info, I thought that was the issue and my bad the dish i am using is 33 inch I am wondering if worth the exspense for a bigger dish, Thanks for the input, maybe just better off to settle for around the 80 stations.
