Anyone here ever try using graywater (water from the washing machine) just wondering if anything special is needed other then PVC pipe and some kind of end for the plants?

nothing else needed ...greywater works well for aphid control too ... but you need to sprinkle the plants with it...

I use grey water for the plants that need the extra water that are not on the scheduled watering times. (we have to cut back due to a water shortage, my wells are getting close to running dry)
I plumbed my house so the water from the washing machine, showers, bathroom sinks and one side of the kitchen sink goes into a 600 gallon storage tank mounted under the deck, this is where it also settles out any particulates, it then pumps from this tank (pump is controlled by a float switch) into a second 200 gallon tank where it is distributed via a standard battery controlled timer drip system, the fresh water system and grey water system are isolated and the freash water system has a back flow preventer to keep the grey water out.
I also have a 2000 gallon rain water tank for backup, it didn't quite get a chance this year to fill up.
