Pvr and editing questions on Nano HD

A good friend of mine is moving out on his own
he is interested in the Nano HD but asked me to post a few questions as of now no internet to do it himself
does the Pvr work on timer does ffwd rwnd work etc
how many timers are you able to set
he works 2-11 mon-fri so he can get the shows needed to record
any issues that are worth mentioning as he isn't picking it up till Tuesday so if you know of a better box really close to the same price would be appreciated
though I am on here I am out of the loop

Support doesn't seem to be the best on this box promised two weeks ago for new repair, once a month seems to be the speed.. If u live in the South it would be ok no guide yet in the North. Good video poor guide and support. But a well made box.I wouldn't worry to much about the pvr until the other bugs are out. Its kinda like a kit car , u have to build it first to drive it. LOL LOL LOL

Not extremely well at the moment so I'v been told but I'm sure if they live up to their promises it will be top drawer
