I would not use any wireless WIFI cameras in any security system, they can be tapped into and have been used to watch people by some unscrupulous persons, with bad intentions.

All my stuff is hard wired, coax or CAT5, you can go up to 1000' on CAT5, with CAT5 power injectors.

Bottom line Best Buy is offering the Uniden.
I know hard wired is best however, do not have the option at this time but hoping.
Question still remains.
