Hi guys, new to jx and I have no sats availabe. Could someone who knows let me know what I'm doing wrong?

Have you loaded any firmware? is your jynx a clone? what sats are you trying to get? what dish & LNBs are you using ?
We need more info.

I'v been told by a farmer that u have load the older firm do a factory reset, then load latest firm do a factory reset then go to dish settings.

thx sorry, I know better. loaded 36 file(successfully) and I have no sats to chose from in installation. Just says 1/1 dtv?
Plus now I did something else wrong, tried to change resolution and tv keeps saying resolution not supported, and I can't see receiver any more on screen.

you need to do a factory reset then the sats will be there, you need to change the resolution with the remote, I think there is a button on the remote to do that, or use the rca cables, you should be able to see the screen enough to change it back.

Use the RCA cables as a temp fix. It will display everything in black and white but you will be able to see the menu and change the resolution back.

thx guys, got the menu back with the other cable. still no sats to choose from, did factory default, same thing 1/1- 0.0w-atsc-dtv

got sats now by loading 035 (thx marcella). What scan is the proper to use pls? It's not a vs which I am familiar with.
