running bell dish for 91/82 on a 6131 receiver( bell)wired direct using a (dp+head)

also a dish 500+ 129/110/119/118 using dpp lnbs +sw44 switch

question can I use the bell dp+ lnb with the sw44 switch, this way a could run every thing off of the switch

using 6131 and jynx box will bell recognize a dpp lnb?

I am trying to run a second wire off of bell lnb to the switch help please

No, you can't run everything into the switch, DP equipment is only capable of running and switching 4 LNB's at a time, your trying to run all 6, Dish and Bell switches will only recognize 4 Diseqc switch positions.

To do all into one you would need a 6x4 switch, but they don't make a 6x4, the only thing available is a 9x4, the Bell receiver would not even see it.

The only way to do this would be to run a coax from one of the ports on the SW44*** (??? This is a legacy switch, do you mean a DPP44 ???) to a 22 KHz switch, then a coax from the Bell setup to the second input on the 22 KHz switch, your Jynx box would be the only receiver to recognize and use this setup.

Switching for it would be:

119 = Diseqc port #1, 22 KHz off.
110 = Diseqc port #2, 22 KHz off.
129 = Diseqc port #3, 22 KHz off.
118 = Diseqc port #4, 22 KHz off.

91 = Diseqc port #1, 22 KHz on.
82 = Diseqc port #2, 22 KHz on.

***If your running legacy LNB's (SW44 switch) on this setup you can't mix it with the DP LNB on the Bell side, they wont work too good together, legacy and DP or DPP LNB's don't play to well together in the same sandbox, it has to be all legacy or all DP, or even all DPP equipment.

hi thank you for your help as it is now I have all my fta on dpp lnbs and dpp44 switch

I was hoping to use the other side of the bell dish dp+ to run 1 coax to the switch, if I change the lnb on the bell dish to a dpp would my bell receiver recognize the dpp44 and lnb? thanks

You can only run 4 LNB's off the switch, you listed 4 connected to that switch (110,118,119,129) you would have to loose a satellite to add one and only one from the BEL side.

a bell receiver can't get dish ;)

Some of the Dish 500 plus 118/119 LNB's have two outputs, one for 118 and one for 119, add the 110 and 129 LNB's you get 4.

this is exactly what I have , cheapest way would be to drop 118 and ad 91or 82 with a dpp dual head on bell , or I could cascade another dpp44 switch to the other side of the original would that work

Well yes you would have to drop 118 to get 82 or 91 into the switch you have now, one thing? Is that an SW44 or a DPP44 switch ???? It makes a big difference.

And no...You can't add satellites by cascading the switch with another one, when you cascade the SW or DP switches together all you do is extend the same satellites that are going into the #1 switch to a second or third switch, all this does is add more ports for more receivers.
(You can cascade 3 SW or DP/DPP44 switches together for a total of 12 Dish receiver inputs, or 9 FTA receivers, due to the power inserter not being liked by some FTA receivers.)

hi thanks for all your help the switch is a dpp44 , all in all I think I will drop 118 and ad 91, less headache and your right adding another switch would only give me more receivers not room for more lnb thanks again
