How do I get Guide info to populate?

set your receiver time to the correct value.

then throw it on channel 200 and turn it off for 10-15 minutes and you will have a guide.

Friend try thru the night leaving it on channel 239
Ull get days of guide on it !!

Make sure you are in standby mode , not deep standby or else you will not get any epg as deep standby shuts down the box into cold sleep . 239 works best , goodluck

sg2100 has it - just use the remote to turn off the unit in the standby mode. Channel 239 seems to work best

not sure if others noticed...239 does populate well for many channels but it does not for many others which would have been populated with 200. So I kept trying others and noticed that 8/10 times putting it on 105(USA TV) populated the guide for the ones not populated by 239. The only caveat is that this process populates it only for an hour or so.

Anyone else had similar experience?
