exsternal hard drive

Does anyone know how to open files on a external hard drive from another computer,that i connected to a new computer.

Most external HD's are plug and play.
Click on computer and you should see the drive. Simply double click on it and it should open for you and you should be able to see its contents.
Then simply right click and paste whatever to wherever.
If you want to do the above from another computer then you need to network/share the drive to your network.
