Hey guys,

Just a curious question, has anyone been able to goto single sat scan and select option network scan "yes" and actually been able to get channels to scan in? Reason for me asking is this... I have a friend who has dish and bev setup, his ps has MLB and NHL CI opened on bev, but the nano will not scan all the channels for mlb or nhl on bev. He only gets 5 of the 11 mlb channels and 1 of the NHL CI channels out of 10 or so. But if I hook up the jynxbox hd v3 all of the mlb and nhl channels scan in.

Make a long story short i wrote down all the tp's with the mlb channels and went to add them to the nano hd but found they were already there, was kinda maybe hoping doing a scan with the option for network scanset to "yes" might update any info missing. His sat config is as follows:

Dish 1 = 24" Round with step bracket for 110/119/129
EMP 4 x 1 switch 110 = 1/119 = 2/129 = 3

Dish 2 = Dish 500 with 2 legacy LNB's
Using a 22khz for Bev.... 82 = 22khz off/91 = 22khz on
via port 4 of EMP switch

All LNB's are 11250 Standard

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. Personally I dont care for the mlb on bev but at same time would like to find out why I cannot get the nano to do "Single Sat Scan" with the network option set to yes. I actually gave it about 15 mins hoping it was just taking it's sweet a** time to start showing results. But no dice.

And jftr I did try doing a blind scan on both bev birds hoping it would then catch the missing channels but still no luck.

Thanks in advance!

I have had similar problems and have unfortunately come to the conclusion that this box is quirky and overall a bad choice. It has limited switch support, seems to have trouble isolating satellites, and the support is looking a bit grim. Two or three weeks ago they promised an update a week after 819 was released but that hasnt happened. Since these problems dont qualify as making the receiver defective, there is really no recourse except to sit on it and hope things improve. I thought about selling mine, but in good conscience I couldnt claim it was in good working order so I have a door stop because I wont be bothering with it until I try a new release and based on what is there now, I am not expecting great changes.

One option is trying a power inserter but I am reluctant to sink any more money into it. I will just take a hit and move on to something more proven. I will watch to see if anyone can solve your friend's problem but I am not very hopeful. Good luck.

@Hamboner

Just say no to network search with normal scan or try to scan single tp

no-signal

see I'm not the only one saying the receiver doesn't scan right .110 around 595 channels 119 around 491 channels and 129 around 523channels.

Just remember nanoHD is not dn QEM equipment. Amount of channels you was able to scan is pretty good.I scan my box the way i stated in my last post and all your missing channels are on my list.Could be some channels missing on my list to but i did not notice anything major missing
