Hello,

I have not been here in a long time.. long time meaning since the old good days before everything went black.

Anyways, my friend is tired of paying expensive cable/dish bills and is looking to come back to fta one more time. I have been reading around the forum and I found that Jynxbox is somewhat cheap and reliable (to some extent) and I am going to suggest it for my friend. However, before I recommend it, I wanted to see if I can some clarifications first:

Is the v5+ ultra the latest version?
Any major outstanding problems today?

Thank you for reading

V5+ is a clone receiver of the Jynxbox and not a true Jynxbox.

Thank you for the quick response.

Is there a list of reliable whole sellers somewhere?

The Jynxbox Ultra HD v3 is the last version to be created by Jynxbox, and many sold out there with the v3 label are clones. There are a few dealers out there that do sell the v3, but the clone makers have made it difficult to determine if the box is legitimate or a clone. However, the only chance for any support maybe through the clone makers.

clone makers do not offer support, that is what makes them clones to begin with. Theey leech off legitimate filre releases and then try to remove any clone kill codes

I have one ordered, when I get it and test it I will post a full report on what I find,= LNB power output = how well the remote works,
how well the mother board is built, & solder joints= & if it works with DPP LNBs & all other problems I find,
It will be posted in the clone section.

I would go to the jynxbox ultra lite HD, it is a little smaller, and no V #'s this unit was brought out from JB themselves, it is a good running little receiver!
