guys I am new to XBMC with my Android box, but I found out you can run it on your computer, can you get the exact same add-ons, my unit came pre-loaded, but a friend of mine wants to try it on his computer, however I cant help him, I was telling him about sports devil and mashup on xbmc? can any one explain how to load these and what is the difference from pc to a Android box they sell.

I run XBMC, with mashup and SportsDevil on my PC. If I remember correctly I had to google those two specific addons. There is a zip file that is called SuperRepo that includes almost all addons you would need, but you may have to google a few seperately to get a working updated version. Installing the is pretty straight forward, there are lots of tutorials out there.

I also run XBMC on a i7 PC and use Mashup....., it is the only way to go and fast.

What exactly are Mashup and SportsDevil? IPTV services? Are they subscription services?

they are free repos, sportsdevil is mainly live sports feeds and and mashup is a little of everything and it does have some live tv channels as well

OK, I've opened XBMC on my PC. Went to Video Add Ons search and there are tons of them but no SportsDevil or Mashup. How do I get them?

You need to D/L the repositories that hold the add-ons that you want and then install the add-ons from those repositories. See XBMCHub . com. There are tons of great add-ons other than the two you mentioned. You will not get Mashup at xbmchub, they are separate now (mashupxbmc . com).

Mashup now has it's own forum. google mashupxbmc or go youtube.

download xbmc, also download any repos you might want ie mashup, sportsdevil, they are zip files, leave as zip file,but put them somewhere you can easily find them ie in downloads. then open xbmc, goto system, settings, add ons, install as zip file,find on pc, c:,users,(whatever you have named your computer),downloads, left click on repo zip file, then go back to main xbmc screen go to video, add ons, your new repo will be now on the list, left click to install. good luck, you must repeat this process for all repos.

DVBlink is nice for IKS but you should have mentioned that they need to install ACamd as well or it will not do IKS.
Also DVBlink is not free and you need to buy it after 30 days.

That right but work very well and with epg collector you can get epg
