Is any body here using the Linkbox 8000 plus for true FTA? My question is when putting the factory HD board in receiver with factory file how good is the blindscan? And how good is the receiver compared to x5 openbox for fta? Thank you

I used the linkbox 8000 hd a while back and it was quite good on true fta, very similar to a Pansat receiver. The board would need to be removed in order to scan in s2/8psk channels as the board is being used for turbo 8psk for dn and bev.

I am using receiver for cband satellites I have scaned in ses101 and 99 galaxy16. I am having a problem that only the Horizontal transponders are getting scanned in.The vertical have no signal or will not get scanned in.The s2/8psk is properly seated in receiver and I am using latest factory file from Panerex website. I have a Openbox S9 that I also use on my setup that will scan all transponders in no problem so I am pretty sure the problem is with the linkbox. Would you have any idea what the problem can be? Thank you my friend

I haven't used my linkbox in months but I do not remember having any issues with either polarity on c band. I am using the 8000hd though not the 8000 plus. I will hook up my 8000 to my c band feed and scan those sats.

No issues on either polarity on Galaxy 16 at 99w. I scanned in, for example:

Abc Hd Net-11
4120 H 30000
720p
H.264

G16/18 Hd
4060 V 27780
720p
Ac3

I'll leave my linkbox on my c band setup as I have a dual feed in case you have other questions.
