- Former AWA wrestler Eugene "Buck" Zumhofe was sentenced to 310 months in prison this week on first-degree and third-degree counts of criminal sexual conduct for molesting his daughter for years, beginning when she was 15 years old.
Zumhofe's lawyer requested a stay in prison time and probation so he could receive treatment and counseling but that was denied by the judge. Zumhofe must spend a minimum of 17 years in prison before he's eligible for release. Zumhofe was also ordered to serve 10 years of post-release probation and register as a sex offender. Assistant County Attorney Aaron Welch asked the judge to double Zumhofe's sentence to over 51 years due to his previous criminal sexual conduct and the fact that his crime was against a family member. The judge denied that also.
