Recording Freezes T5

Any help would be appreciated. When I press the record button on any channel seem like is recording but after 5 second the T5 completely freezes and suggestions or can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong

using a stick or hdd? Maybe try another drive

32 gb stick

make sure stick is formatted ,Try another too and see what happens

same issue here... Press record, it freezes and it gets stuck. can't pause or rewind, to get it back i need to press stop and tune the channel back in.

Did you reformat stick or try another one?

Tried powered external hd as well as a USB stick. Used the dreamlink to format both and still no go. If you hit the play button to record, try to rewind the box it will lock up. Have to press stop to get the channel back. I even had a PVRd tv show do this, it wouldn't play beginning to end without freezing.

Is this a flaw with the T5?

i'am on my second T5 and both froze-up when trying to record...using the same 16gb usb stick[fat32]

having similar issue, I set timer to record a show and it activates but freezes right away I get a message" stb is hung need to reboot" just tried another timed recording and it froze again but now I can't change channel, exit, reboot nothing the stb just does not respond, I have formatted usb stick in my computer and tried different usb sticks
