Can the files for the i-link is-9800 be used on the nano hd the recivers look the same anybody try this?

Can the files for the i-link is-9800 be used on the nano hd the recivers look the same anybody try this?

I have heard of the remote control being compatible but I wouldn't risk bricking my stb with other files.
