Hello Folks, just wondering if this would work

I have Dish 1000.1

21835

129, 119/118, 110

with the following

hXXp://sadoun.com/Sat/Products/Dishnetwork/Switches/173402-DPP44-switch.htm ( says ground block version, I have no idea what that means )

I know all LNBs need to be DP but can I one of them work as legacy? ( 110 )

I plan to put all 4 sats in switch

Port 1 > Wire Coming all the way to Room > POWER INSERTER > Ecoda 21 ( 0 KHZ / 22LHZ is for Bev from a Dish 500 ) > Dreamlink HD FTA Receiver
Port 2 > Dreamlink HD FTA
Port 3 > SV 8k
==============

In future, I would like to Trunk the aove to a DP34 ( Dont care about Sat 129 on that ) and put Port 1, 2, 4 to Dish 301 Receivers?

The DPP 44 switch will run the FTA receivers just fine if you use the #1 port on it for the power inserter by it's self, receiver ports #2, 3 and 4 can be setup as you posted.(offset by one port)

You cant port the DPP 44 and the DP34 switch it wont work, it has to be a second DPP44 switch and it's power inserter, you can cascade up to 3 DPP44 switches.

The only port on the DPP44 switch that can handle the legacy LNB is the #4 input, but that has to be for the 118 satellite as the 119/110 and 129 take up the #1, #2 and #3 Diseqc switching, Diseqc #4 is for the 118 LNB.

Also an OEM or SV8000 will work with the power inserter in port1. I don't know of any other fta receivers that will though.

So to answer your question, yes that 110 lnb MUST be DP.
