Buddy got a 24 inch slight oval dish with bracket and lnb's for 110, 119, 129. Hooked up with diseqc port 1,119...2,110...3,129. 119 and 110 both come in at 95 quality and 80 signal. 129 shows 60 signal and 2 quality. Using T4 receiver. Want to get 129 before buying HD unit. What's my best options to lock/get 129?

Hi:

Can you please share what you did to increase your 129 signal/quality? Are you getting signal/quality on all 129 TP's (horizontal and vertical)?

Can you please post a picture of the final setup like in your first post? Also can you please post your dish elevation setting at the back of the dish?

Thanks.

The dish elevation will be different at different locations, use dishpointer.com to set your dish for where you live.

He used an SD transponder to properly align his dish, use TP 12516R to align your dish once you get the proper dish elevation for your location.

And anymore questions and I will move this to your own thread, so we wont hijack this one.

Understood Terryl, and thanks for starting a separate thread for me.

However, I was just asking the question to the OP skeptic just to get an idea of what he actually did to "improve" his 129 signal on TP 12516, since he was getting low signal on it. As well, he may not have seen the new thread that you started for me, so I thought it would be more appropriate if I asked him in his own thread as he may receive a subscription notification and possibly respond to it.

Thanks.
