I am only finding 36 channels off ceil 129 on three transponders the rest are being skipped. Any ideas as to why this is happening? How many channels should i be finding on 129?

Did this just start happening?

Or are you just setting up the system??

We need a bit more info on your setup, things like , how many LNB's, what type of LNB(s), what type of switch do you have (if any), and if just setting up, what type of coax did your use???

All this keeps us from running the battery's down on the crystal ball.

Just setting up. Dish1000.2 110 119 are working fine. I dont know how to tell what type of coax. Got 119 on port 1 110 on port 2 129 port 3. Is it possible to find sat 129 on certain tp and still be not pointed correctly. It shows like 70 on signal meter and identifies itself on the tp that work

129 is HD and takes a HD receiver to get them all!

Do you have a power inserter hooked to the first port of the LNB or a DN sub receiver hooked to the first port of the LNB if you don't
that would be a good place to start or you will burn out the JB200 module.

That may be your problem, you don't have enough DC power in that receiver to properly run the D1000 triple head LNB, it takes about 650 mA of DC current to run it right.

The coax HAS to be rated to 2.5 GHz or 3 GHz or you will be missing transponders and channels, the coax should be marked on the jacket, it should say rated to 2.5 GHz, or Swept to 3 GHz.

If you follow IQ180's post you should have no problems. (If the coax is the right stuff)

Have DN reciever hooked to port. I will check coax.

The DN receiver must go to the #1 LNB port on the D1000 LNB or it wont work, you also may have to do a switch check on the DN receiver so it see's the right type of LNB.(Sometimes you don't have to do this)

To do this hit the "Menu" button then #6 then #1 then #1 again, select "Swicth check" and let it do it's job, when done you can cancel out, you will have to leave the DN receiver on.

The DN receiver will not reset for a new switch by just hooking up the coax and doing a check switch, you need to do this first.
To reset the DN receiver to look for a new switch first run a check switch with NO COAX cable, then unplug the DN receiver then
hook the coax to the receiver, plug it back in and run a check switch.

All mine do this just fine with the new switch attached...

exactly
no need to perform more than one check

Just to make sure.... You do have a JB200 tuner and not the JB-DVB-S2 tuner installed ?

LOL, I learned to do that the hard way with my VIP 722, I was using a dish 500 with DPP twin lnb, I added a dish 300 with a single
lnb to the sat in port of the DPP lnb for sat 129, I must ran the check switch 20 times it would not find sat 129, I called ND and that's what they told me to do, run the check switch 1 time with no coax, then run it with the coax and it worked first time.

Thats funny, I may have done that type of setup a hundred times, and have never had to disconnect the coax, on some all I had to do was unplug it from the wall, but there is always a first time, I may run into this problem at a later date.
