Wing Commander Andy Green of the British Royal Air Force currently holds the world land speed record. He did it by breaking the sound barrier in 1997, hitting 763 mph in the ThrustSSC.

Now, almost 20 years later, Green is getting set to best his own record in the Bloodhound Supersonic Car (SSC), which is designed to go over 1,000 mph.

Step inside the Bloodhound SSC with Andy Green and learn about the different challenges that the engineers and driver will have to face as they prepare this car for its record breaking run, set to take place within the next two years.
