Jynxbox is blank

I had my Jynxbox setup and running then it was running 720p so I set it at 1080p and it just went blank and I can't do anything to get it back , I can't readjust the settings its just blank what do I do.

You need to connect to tv using a yellow video cable and then you will be able to reset your video settings in your receiver

You could also press the Aspect button on the remote until you see something.

Just for information purposes, there are no rca connections on a JB ultra lite! I have a friend with the same problem, if someone knows how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate the post, on where to go or what ever to fix this, you see he also played with the aspect ratio on his TV also!

If you are not able get a Picture on the TV then the receiver may have changed to PAl Video Format.

This is what you need to try to do to get Video

Try connecting with the RCA cable first. If this does not work on your specific TV try another TV if that’s an option. If it’s not an option or you have no other options here are the directions so you can blindly navigate with your remote.

These directions will take you to 480i this should cover every television out there. You can experiment with higher resolutions after you have read that actual specifications of your television set.

To be safe allow one second before hitting the next button.

Once the box boots up you will have access to the menu already: (out of the box there are no channels scanned so you are already at the main menu and will display no Channels)

Procedure: To be safe allow one second before hitting the next button.

1) Reboot the box to ensure you are at the starting point. (front panel will show Boot, On STRT.

2) CLick <Menu> button.

3) Hit the directional arrow down two times<down> <down> This will take you to the systems tab

4) Then hit Right

5)Hit Down

6) Then hit ok two times <OK> < OK> to enter your resolution settings

7) Hit the directional up button 2 times for the lowest grade of 720p or 6 times for 480i

7) I recommend hitting the up button 6 times for 480i to guarantee a picture first

8) Click <OK>



Highlighted in bold are the actual directions and buttons to click you can ignore the descriptions and just follow the bold and it should work.

gwrowe; there are ASV cables that come with the JB Lite. They have a 1/8 walkman jack at one end and the Yellow, White, Red connectors at the other end. The A/V port is just to the left of the HDMI port when looking at the receiver from the back.
