Something fishy about Ultimate

Something is up guys. My friend pm'd JT and said south was down almost a week ago. JT replied back and said south was up. When my friend replied back and said no it isn't, as 3 different accts, 3 different receivers, 2 different internet providers all says connected but no south. JT replied back days later, saying he meant to say they are working on it. When my friend asked to switch one of the accts to north only then, nothing has happened since. No reply back and no connect on north, nothing. The excuse of JT is sick doesn't fly. Almost a week and no help for paid users? Anyone else have their south only acct switched to north by JT yet?

You just signed on today, and didn't bother to introduce yourself which isn't mandatory but find it highly suspicious you jump right into complaining about one of the p$ on this site. And not only that but you don't even have an account with JT. I don't believe any members owes you an explanation. jmo

I dont even have a box to check but I have advised numerous friends and relatives to use ultimate and among them they have 8 accounts. They are in 4 different states and use 4 or 5 different isp. Although most are novices as far as IKS are concerned they do have two or three of us to help when they have a problem and THEY ARE ALL DOWN AND HAVE BEEN DOWN OVER A WEEK. A few days ago I wrote JT and provided 8 user names and ask about the service. I have received no reply. Two at this point have ask me to see if I can find another iks provider and that does not include 2 friends that just purchased new boxes and are not yet set up. None of these are able to pick up signals for BEV (Sacramento is the north most user) so switching to north is just not an option

It is beginning to look as if Ultimate is not planning to provide service to paid customers. I hope it is not true but they will not be the 1st. I hope this is not considered bashing - it is just the plain and simple truth. I do still have hope but confidence is not a word I would use here

this is not the first time ultimate has gone down on the south side for an extended period of time when all others are up, north is fine but south seems to suffer more and not just from the regular ecm's, from what I'm told from my buddy who uses ultimate is that south connects just no pic so could be that jt does not have access to the main hub/cache his server connects to but this is just a guess as I have no inside info but did read that he has been sick and that does sound a little funny as to how it really relates to his server being up/down, either way it will most likely come back but who knows when, other options to look at like xbmc, iptv or even another server provider

We did read in other threads on a couple of occasions where you said you were down for a week. We can understand your frustration.
It is never a good idea to suggest a p$ to anyone little own relatives. You know or should know that 5 minutes after you suggest a p$ to someone they can go down or even worse go south. Has happened a few times around here.
I have no idea what the problem is with ultimate but whining or dumping on him will get you nowhere. He knows he has members money and he also knows they want their tv. If he hasn't stepped up and with an announcement saying he has a problem then maybe he is sick. Give him some time and in the meantime find another p$ and wait it out as fretting about it will do no good. Good luck

what question? you mean did I have my account switched? well the answer is no because I can't be bothered with silly IKS stuff when streaming media is so much better and easier as well, also, if I was going to use IKS that would be the last service I would dabble in LOL as this isn't the first time this has happened and there has always been an excuse but the truth has never been made public on the other occasions and I suspect this is the same reason as all the other times :)
