Hello all, I just purchased a new pinwheel mini and I dont get any signal S or Q on 119 or 110 or 129. I am running a diseqc switch with standard LNB's. I tried KU LNB and Universal in the settings still with nothing. I have even went to the dealer and switched it out for a new one. WHen I hook up my sonicview 8k up, all signals come up fine. Probably omsething simple. I connected the satellite cable to the IF IN and installed pinwheel mini 3.1 software, running hard wire network.

Thanks in advance!

Please post your sat settings. Did you set it to universal if so did you use the 11250 setting

I guess I am looking for what settings to enter as I really have no idea. What should they be?

Ok I have some progress, I get a signal when I change to ku Lnb 11250. Problem is no matter what diseqc parameter I set abc or d it still says locked echostar 110 only.

Friend leave it to KU
Now when u have in ur switch lets 110 into port 1 u will set ur switch on the box setting to port A
If 119 is on 2 u will have to put it to B
A - 1
B - 2
C - 3
D - 4
Do one at a time to make sure ur switch isnt bad, and also never move ports on switch behind the dish with receiver on...

I tried that and all ports say echo star 110. If I hook each satellite up directly it works. Maybe the switch is shot but it works fine with my Sonicview 8k hd.

Use disq parameter not 1.1 and set ports as benfica suggested. A good quality switch like chieta may help. good luck

there are a couple of reasons this may be happening

1- make sure you are using RG6 cable not CATV cable RG59

2 - the run of RG6 from the STB to the switch is too long anything over 70 feet and you are suffering to much power loss so the switch can not operate properly the pinwheel has a lower power output then your Sonivview

I will get a new switch and hope that fixes it. I have RG6 cable and the run should be a bit less than 70. I hope that is not the problem. is there a way to boost power signals if it is?
