dreamlink hd unit wont load new channel list

guys im having a problem with my dreamlink receiver. all of a sudden all channels have scrambled. I usually reload all stations and it solves the problem. This time not only did it not work but i cannot load any channels, We are on a subscription service through the internet and i originally thought the problem was on there end but i can run scans for channels and nothing shows up! I believe the problem is with my receiver and the only thing i haven't tried is to reset to factory! (is this a good idea to try as a newbee!! and what do i have to do to get the unit up and running after a foctory reset)

the system was set up by a 3ed party and i do not have the server info! can i access that or do i have to contact the people who set it up?

i have read through all the post in regards to set up but still unclear on 1 thing! if i factory reset my unit is there any info i need to get from the guys who set it up for me? or can i just copy the info off the screen and re enter it myself (and there are passwords which i cant access)

if you can see all the server info then write it down and you should be good to go.

there would be server name, username, password, port # and DES string data

quite possible factory reset wouldn't effect that info as well. Some boxes factory reset will wipe it out , others it will not. As for dreamlink I do not know the answer to that

factory reset doesn't wipe server info which is hidden

Factory reset did nothing! Cannot get a single channel to load!
Signal fine
quality fine
settings seem ok
cables are all ok
internet is working
clock and date out of sink
as far as i understand even if my subscription was not working for my support services i should at least be able to pick up stations ( scrambled!!) but i get nothing!
Any suggestions??

Thats what i have been doing! scanning all the sats and it picks up nothing! No stations! Usually i end up with a ton of stations scrambled or working or bad signal! but now its not picking up anything

Do you have another box to try to make sure all coming from your dish is working fine?
Have you tried pulling the HD module then trying a scan?
