Got my old antenna hooked to my tv to get locals...the antenna is about 25 yrs old give or take but still gets good signal. I've got a rotor motor on it but can't remember where I put my rotor dial...had two around here at one time. So since I couldn't find mine I decided to get one off ebay...been getting around 19 channels with the antenna stationary so I'm going to see if I can pick some off in the distance by being able to turn the motor again. I figured worse case if I can't find any more channels the ones I do get will be pegged out with being able to point the antenna in there direction lol...vintage alliance tenna rotor U100...aka old school...what the hay something to play around with.

Hey Snap, the old antennas will work just fine for the new HD channels, you may want to chek the coax, sometimes that stuff will dry out and you will loose signal.

Try this place for a rotor control box.

This may or may not help you;

Use the tools section to input your address or GPS coordinates, find true north with your rotor and then you will at least have an idea where to aim the antenna to pick up any additional stations in your area.

Nothing is free. You pay for that TV signal in ways that simply are not obvious. If nothing else you should be paying attention to how the bandwidth is allocated by FCC.

Well I was going to buy another model U-100 but the seller reneged on me...so I went with the upgraded model U-110 and after all these years which has been at least 20 the old antenna and motor is turning once again. They really built these old motors to last...had to replace some of the clamps cause they were rusted bad and broke off but the old motor still turns lol. Maybe one of these days I'll find my U-100...it's around here some place.

Even used the old flat rotor wire that was still connected to the motor after all these years as well.

Did you look at the site I posted?

They may have stuff for your old per 1960 rotor box.
