Just got the v6 today. I'm only putting Bev on it. I have it connected to a dish 500 with 50 ft. RG6 cable, and a legacy twin LNB. Sat 91 is working perfectly. In dish settings I have Legacy LNB set to Legacy twin LNB1.
But no matter what I try for Sat 82 in dish settings I only get so many TP to work. And the channels come in randomly. Say I go to ch 1400 it comes in. I flick to 1405 it comes in. I press last to go back to 1400 now no signal. Go back & forth & it may come in again. So Sat signal is there then not there when changing channels & this is like this with all channels on SAt 82 only. Jynx V6 with firmware version 3.2.47
Is it a bad module or cable too long, or?????

I just replaced a Solaris that worked excellently in this setup, with this Jynx V6 with firmware version 3.2.47

That sounds like a switch problem or a bad cable end.

That sounds like a switch problem or a bad cable end.

Checked cable ends, & cut off about 10 ft & that's all I can cut off. & still no difference, & new ends(connectors).

Update: with the 10 ft cut off the cable, the system is working better. Only 4 TP's not coming in down from 9, & less channel flicking to get a channel to come in.

Unplug your 91 cable from your switch and plug 82 into that slot and see what happens. Leave 91 unplunged. If things are fine then replace your switch.

Troubles solved. It was a bad twin Legacy LNB. I've got a Dish Pro Quad on the dish now with a NFHD, Solaris & the Jynxbox v6. It seems that to get these receivers working right with this quad lnb,you choose Dish pro & diseq 1 with Port 1 for Sat 91 & port 2 for Sat 82, even though there is no diseq swithes anywhere. All receivers are working like a charm. Really impressed with the Jynx v6 picture quality.
Oh! Thanx Anubis & iq180 for pointing me in the right direction.
