Is it possible to record a program while watching a different program simultaneously?

When recording you can't even look at the program guide or change channels. You have to stop the recording first.

Nothing happens, you have to stop recording before you can do anything else.

Isn't that false advertisement on Dreamlink's part or am I confusing what "Live recording" and "simultaneous" playback means in their brochure?
