recording from th dreamlink android

Ok so I plugged in my WD portable HD and played around but I can not figure it out so can I record with my dreamlink and if so how also can I format my hard drive from the dreamlink thanks in advance

Just curious why you would want to record anything when you can just go back in and watch it anytime??
There are no record functions on the dreamlink

Yes you can record. There are some apps in the source links that you installed for pvr client.
There are also ways to record to your home network (network streaming).
Some movie and mp3 links even have a context menu to download instead of playing them.
