What's at stake: A berth in the semi-finals opposite the winner of the Sweden-Slovakia game. Russia defeated Canada 2-0 the last time they met in the Olympics, in 2006 in Turin, the final goal going into the empty net.

Who to watch: It isn't just a match-up of the NHL's two dominant players, Sidney Crosby of Canada and Alex Ovechkin of Russia. Crosby will likely go head-to-head with his Pittsburgh Penguins' teammate Evgeni Malkin, who is centering the Ovechkin line at the moment and after a slow start to the tournament, responded with a three-point game against the Czech Republic Saturday. Just who coach Mike Babcock matches defensively against Ovechkin will be interesting; Chris Pronger has the size and experience, but thus far, the best duo has been a pair of youngsters, Duncan Keith and Drew Doughty.
