I am also looking for a down loadable list or info how to add a sat. manually.

Just trying to use it for Shaw Direct on Sat Anik F1 and F2.
Meter came with a lot of North America sats pre programmed but not what I need.
I was able to do a blind scan after I entered Anik F1 & 2 on add a sat in the menu.
It only found 11 transponders on F1 and one on F2 while being connected to the lnb
on the dish.
I think there must be more transponder's? If anyone knows about this meter please chime in.

I haven't downloaded the pdf's for the units you asked about so I am not sure, but one would tend to assume it would.

Yes I have the manual that came with it and I was on the website earlier that you put a link to.
It has a download manual which is the same as mine and vary vague in adding a sat as it does not
follow the steps in the manual. They have left a lot out in my opinion.

Current software on the unit?

I cannot find the current software in the menu anywhere and the manual only speaks of up-grading the software.

Bought one of these units......if the Unit has the sats you need it tends to do the job very well......but the problem is it doesnt come with American Sats.....found a file I downloaded and gave me all but 129 ....anyone have this file or knows how I can add info into unit to get the Sat 129?
