I have Sats 82, 91, 110, 119, 129 connected with standard dual LNBs. I am using 4x1 Diseqc switch along with 22kHz switch. Unfortunately, sat connected to 22kHz site is not detected (it is "ON").
In fact, sat connected on "0 kHz" site also detected when sat on "22kHz" site selected. This is happening both on my Dreamlink T5 HD and JynxBox HD V2 receiver. However, 22kHz switch properly detects sat on Nanosat Premuium receiver. In other words, switch is not bad but it is not working with HD receivers. Please note that my LNBs are connected to Diseqc switch via 3x4 Multi switches. However, I connected LNBs directly to 22kHz switch by eliminating 3x4 multi switch and diseqc switch but still the same result. Any suggestions???

Is there any other way connecting 5 sats? Is anyone successful using 8x1 diseqc switch?

OK, are your standard LNB's the legacy type? Or are they the newer standard type?

If they work with a 3x4 multi switch then you could have the legacy type, this requires 2 coaxes from each LNB to the switch, one for the +13 volt switching and one for the +18 volt switching, this would total 6 coaxes (2 per LNB) down to the switch.

If they are of the standard type then one coax from each LNB will work.

What brand/manufacture are your LNB's and are they all the same brand/type/manufacture?

Mixing brands and types will not work too good.

Now, if they are all the legacy type you can use a switch from EMP, a 10x4 switch will work fine.

If they are all the standard type, then a 8x1 or an 8x2 switch from EMP will also work, your receiver should have a Diseqc 1.1 or 2.0 setting, this would give you up to 16 LNB selections.

I have 2 coaxes from each LNB that means I have legacy type LNBs. I don't think they are the same brand but the they are the same type. What is "EMP" ? Why do you think 22kHz switch isn't working?

A 22 KHz switch will only work on two standard LNB's, (one coax from each LNB) not on two legacy LNB's. (two coaxes, one for +13 volt switching, and one for +18 volt switching)

To use 5 legacy LNB's to one or more receivers you will need a 10 input (5 satellites equals 2 outputs per LNB at +13 an+18 volt switching) to 1 or more outputs.

EMP is the brand name for a very good quality switch, they make switches that can run as many as 16 legacy LNB's to 32 or more receivers, you would need a 10x4 (or an 11x4) switch.
