This is a heads up on the V7, there will be no more jynxboxes coming from China with 3rd party software preloaded
they will only have the factory V8 for true fta only, the V6 is the last one to come preloaded.
If you are going to use the new jynxbox you need to learn how to use the loader or use the older firmware that's
clone safe.

firmware 3.2.57
I should have 1 in a week or 2.

Interesting iq180,How much influence does the US FEDS have on the chinese vendors anyways?..my guess is very little..besides how does having any vendor firmware such as v2.44 for example make any case for the FEDs? ... is there something of nagravision smart cam in firmware the vendors are shipping out Jynxbox's with?..if so I can see alot of port seizures coming.

Port seizures is where the problem is, they cant do much to the Chinese for selling them but a U.S. vender could find them self in
hot water. I heard this was going to happen a month or 2 ago, and if you think this is not the case just look around and find a U.S. vender selling them with 3rd party software, there isn't 1, in fact in there add they will tell you they only sell them with factory
V8 file.

The seller I bought my v4 sent me via e-mail the file, and it was already preloaded, but for later versions, no one has posted the update file, except for the dump that iq180 got for the v6.

I'm looking forward for the review of the v7, though it may not be worth the effort. My v4 is still working, but it really needs cooling to stay up.

All the jynxboxes that have the JB200 module need a fan blowing air on the JB200 module.
I too am looking forward to testing the new jynxbox V7 and I hope the new firmware is preloaded, if it is I will dump the allchunk
file and see to it that it is posted here at satfix first.

Because none of the other venders have the 3rd party software preloaded on the v7 at this time and they are 30 usd more than
the vender from China.

Thanks, I just put the allchunk file on my v5+ its up and running, now the v5+ IDs as a v7, so the file is good.
Now if you buy any jynxbox V model that only has factory V8 file you can load the v7 allchunk file v 3.2.57, it only took me
5 min to load it with the loader & loader cable.

It comes with the JB200 tuner, it is turbo FEC for 110w/119w/129w, you can get a DVB-S2 tuner for true FTA or an OTA tuner.

Hmmmm, I see that and that is the vender I ordered from, the add was changed after I ordered & that cant be good, well there is nothing I can do about it now, I will see what I have when it comes in.LOL.

Got my v7 unit and sold it to a friend, so he is testing it. My first finding was voltage changes in the display, causing the letters and numbers to fade away for seconds. I installed this unit with a ocs-dp lnb and a dp34 switch, using settings diseqc 1.0 position 1 and 2. When this started to happen, he called me and I changed to a normal diseqc 4 to 1 using the settings already established by the manufacturer, position 1 and 4 which comes with the software, and walla, it went away. We can come to the conclusion that the unit work better with diseqc than any other type of switch.

Does it have a built in fan, if so what size of a fan does it have?

I have to disagree Fibroso, my AZlink V3 with it's own firmware does it, also the Ultra Lite with 036 and 111 firmware can do those SATs, in this case it's a frequency thing not a firmware. TurboPirate

After looking at the pic that Turbo posted I can tell you now that the voltage drop was caused by heat on the JB200 module, if you think I am wrong try putting a usb fan on top of the box over the JB200 blowing air in and I bet the problem will go away.

My mistake when I said the new bin. Frequencies are included in the bin so you can decipher them when you scan Sat. So is a combination of both. That's why you change modules with the same firmware to get some south American providers. Also HD channels need a different module. Are you actually seeing this Sat? iq, that could very well be, but why did it stopped after changing the switch?

Yes, on 58 west I get the TPs that are compatible with the JB200 with the Openbox X5 I can scan all the TPs the JB200 doesn't scan the same amount, on 77.2west I can see the channels on the TPs marked Mexico, the TPs marked USA are all black. TurboPirate

The vender has fixed the add, contents of package is now listed as V7.

Can this file be used on Jynxbox V1 (original, not a clone). Also how is this file compared to V242 or V243? Does it show the correct channel names (especially for international channels)?

Dump your allchunk file from your receiver so you will have a backup just in case something goes wrong, then load the V7 allchunk
file, thats the only way to know, test it and see if you like it.

Just got a question. I have a clone V3 and after allchunk dump do i have to install factory and then V7 to test or just load V7? Having problem with this box so am planning to test with.
