HD channels

got my mega 300 and setup took me 30 mins. It's connected as a HDMI connection to tv but I cannot see HD channels. Even HD channels are shown as SD. Any idea? Do I need any other hardware?

No other hardware is required, all hd channels should be showing up. What satellites are you scanning in? North or South?

I scanned 119 118 and110

Your hd channels are on 129w. There are a handful of hd channels on those sats but the majority are on Ciel at 129. They will scan in the 9400-9500.

Do I need 30" dish for 129? Or a standard dish and LNB will work.

Standard dish and lnb will do the job but if you can go a bit bigger on the dish I would recommend it for 129w.
