problems upgrading ilink 9800SE receiver

hi, I have successfully upgrade 9800hd & se receiver in the past, I just bought a new one, tried to upgrade it
using usb, the problem is that no file at all shows-up on the board, it's all blank! please help:thumbsup:

Hey vic try to format your usb stick to fat 32, unzip file load it into your usb then into your receiver

did that, still nothing, the manual says: user need put the upgrade with under root of usb storage, when users switch to the download-usb mode, file will show the corresponding file, select the mode and download file, then you can start download by usb.
I have been playing with this for a while & no file shows-up! perhaps someone has mastered this new technique, thank-you! chevy85!

did you used the same usb to upgrade the old 9800,try a different one

yes I tried them all, using the recommended root system I left it alone for about 8 hrs. & bingo! upgrades started to show-up! thanks to all!
