I noticed that a lot of people have the Dreamlink HD and the Nanosat HD. Both are pretty good HD receivers. I'm looking to upgrade to an HD receiver cause I've got the kbox for four years now. So my question is to everybody here is which is better to guys in terms of picture quality, sound, and overall best performance, the Dreamlink HD or the Nanosat HD? Please be honest and truthful in your answers.

Just go get the Dreamlink T5. No comparison. There is enough info in each respective section to help you out.

I was thinking the same thing about the Dreamlink. Does Dreamlink T5 HD has full 1080p picture quality and sound? I just want to get the best out of my receiver.

Good thing you didn't post in the Nano forum....

OK lets be very frank here.. Most content is so compressed that the quality is limited. If you really want to see Full 1080P HD look at Over The Air tv.. Yup a damm antenna on a local signal.. Watch a live sports event on OTA and Sat or Cable..OTA is much better. There is no compresion.
Plus there is little or no 1080P on sat..
The dreamlink according to the forums is a much more stable machine with better support.

I'm very impressed on this end with the Dream Link T5 after going from Viewsat 9000 HD to nfusion HD to the Dreamlink. Easy to set up and fast channel changing.

You find any difference in the picture quality between the three?

Nanosat HD has excellent picture quality. It would be nice if somebody can release another file to fix the guide.

Like costact stated there is no more support and therefor the guide or any other problems will likely never be fixed.

The T5 is nowhere near the Nfusion HD for picture. The T5 is a lot more user friendly but the support is not great.
The T5 for what it is does the job but I would pay more for a better picture.
