The main card of Bellator 131 is complete with the new addition of Nam Phan against Mike Richman.

Bellator MMA announced the bout during the telecast of Bellator 129 on Friday. The event will take place at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, Calif., and features matchups that include Tito Ortiz-Stephan Bonnar, Muhammed Lawal-Tom DeBlass, Melvin Manhoef-Joe Schilling, and Michael Chandler-Will Brooks.

The 135-pound bout will open the main portion of the event on Spike TV and will serve as the promotional debut of Phan.

“I’m very excited to be part of the new Bellator with Scott Coker and the rest of the team,” Phan said via press release. “This is an opportunity to fight on a huge stage once again and I’m so happy to be able to fight in front of all my friends, family and supporters in California.”

Nam parted ways with Ultimate Fighting Championship earlier this year with a record of (2-6), but has since won two straight fights via finish in Japanese promotions Grandslam MMA and Pancrase.

Richman impressed in his bantamweight debut against Ed West at Bellator 126, finishing his opponent via knockout.
