smartcard for openbox s9

is openbox s9 hd pvr from china or korea can read smartcard like mnc sky card?

I do not really know, but I will guess no. Most of the card readers on these boxes do not really have the support software to do anything but tell if there is a card in the slot.

i don't think so but rule of thumb is check the smartcard menu in the system settings to see if there are any settings for a particular card.S9 is too old to be buying "new" if you don't already have one.It's almost 5 years old which makes it an antique in the receiver world.

they are finicky about nagra cards also.
I use one I rigged to get the n2 radio on 97w and it will only work with a N1 card ironically,spoofed to do n2
