Here is how I upgrade the fan.
I used a 3 inch wide 3/8 inch thick fan 12 volts, I took the magnet out of an old hard drive, the magnet is very strong and it is easy to brake apart, I glued a small peace of the magnet to each corner of the fan, now you don't
need to drill any holes the magnets will hold the fan to the under side of the top of the metal case, now you can move the fan as
needed.

I just wanted to add that I used plastic welder to glue the magnets to the fan, you can find it at just about any auto parts store, the
one I used came from NAPA auto parts.

The V6 & V7 have a fan port on the main board, I cut the wires off the old fan and used them on the new fan, you can see the
plug in pic #5, its next to the JB200 module.

I just wanted to add that this will work on V1,V2,V3,V4,V6,V7, it will not work on the V5 or any jynx that has a plastic top cover.

Just go to your local computer store, Tiger direct, or what ever is close to you, you need a 12 volt=3/8 of an inch thick=3 inch wide
fan and 4 small strong magnets.

There is air holes on the top of the case where you are going to mount the fan and if you use the magnet trick you can move the fan
around to get the best air flow.

I am now using these magnets I found at walmart in the craft section, I now use a hot glue gun to mount the magnets to the fan.
After I have the magnets glued to the fan I then glue a small thin cloth to the top of each magnet, that will cut the fan noise in 1/2.

Ordered up a 80x80x10mm 12v fan and some 1/2" diameter x 1/8" thick Neodymium Disc magnets today. Is the hot-glue method still working well to attach the magnets? I would worry that it might still get warm enough in there for the glue to detach, but if it's holding well then that's what I will use.

Yes it works great, after you hot glue the magnets to the fan glue a small thin cloth or felt to the top of each magnet that will cut
down on any noise from the fan.
