DL HD, out of the blue picture disappears and red and blue lights flashing on the stb. twice this week it has happened. restored only by flashing with DL Loader, but happened again. it seems to do this with transponder change. any ideas what to do?

If you think transponder change has something to do with your problem then turn auto tp off.

If problem persists after shutting the auto tp to off then try a fresh file d/l as it is possible the one you are using is corrupt, if it still persists more trouble shooting will be required.Good luck.Edit after a little reading you may want to try component cables instead of hdmi cable if it is "Flashing B00TL00P".

Thanks, problem persisted even after tp off, removed HDMI cable, rebooted, no blinking lights, reinserted hdmi cable without powering off, then factory restore twice, flashed factory file, factory restore, loaded latest bin file and now working so far.

If problem arises again consider the possibility your version of hdmi cable is incompatible with your series of hardware (receiver/TV) there have been many upgrades in the hdmi cable field over the years. See the link for list of Hdmi versions:
