Are you hard wired or wireless? What are you supposed to be getting (at best)? A little more info on your setup may help to sort this out. 4 - 10 is a big swing it should be more stable like a steady 8.

have you checked what your actual speed is vs what you are suppose to get? just because your isp says the service is x fast, doesn't mean it actually is. is there any other load on the service besides you running the roku? if you are running that, and someone else is playing a xbox, someone else is streaming something online, you will slow down. have you tried to run a hardwire to the roku to see if it improves?

OK dave36, so far you have supplied with little information about you're entire set up and if you can do that, I'm sure we can be helpful....we are one of the last true FTA sites left on the web............

Since you are running with d-link N150 Router I suggest for you to hardwire your system..and that just might solve your issues..running wireless is not always the best thing to do...good luck bud

Just do a speed test on the wireless. Connect your laptop to your wireless network, and do a internet spped test on your laptop. I had 30MBS when I connect through wireless I only get 12 to 16MBS, and sometimes I got 6MBS. I think it could be your wireless.

Using a laptop will only give you the speed for that. Within the mag box, is there not a browser? If so, open up the browser and do a speed test using the box. this way you will be doing a speed test on your wireless set up and the box capability as well.

I don't believe there is a browser on a mag..but I could be wrong.. Could be that the system simply isn't stable enough yet for the MAG its runs pretty great on a roku though.. Could be a lot of factors my hommie Jamal's roku tan like dodo butter until he upgraded his router and once this was done been silky smooth ever since

From my Mag 250 Guide:

THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH MAG 250: Watch television and movies, listen to radio and music, play games and browse the internet.

I've never really used the internet browser, but the box is amazing with IPTV. No buffering issues here. You just need to find the right service. Do some googling...lots to pick from.
