Remote control programming.

I cannot get my dreamlink remote, programmed, to work my rca, led tv, any help, have gone through ,the up down channel sequence ,trying to find the code, but failed ,any suggestion please.........

I have also tried entering code manually but a little confused on how to do this correctly as the manual is a little vague !
