I've been out of the loop since N3 came into effect. Can anyone give me the skinny on what required to get Nfusion HD back up and running with B-v?

I've looked around on this forum for "up to date info" but I have questions to the validity of previous posts due to the dates posted.

Is there an accurate instructions list I have missed and could you point me to it as well as the preferred IKS service provider link etc.

Thanks.

There are 2 ways to get Bev up and running on an NFusion HD
1/ using NO1 program on your computer. Computer must be on all the time with NO1 running to watch TV
2/ better system is using a Linksys Wrt54G router programmed with Goo3 bin and DD-Wrt.
Receiver needs the 24 or 25 file to work on Bev and also you need to subscribe to an Iks service that supplies Bev.
Both these systems require work, patience and a reasonable amount of knowledge to get up and running. You might be better off purchasing a different receiver that connects to the private server without using a specific program on your computer or a modified router unless you are confident in all the programming needed to make the NFusion work.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do we need a separate "donation" code for each receiver? I have an vs9000hd as well.
Are there decent channels for 82, 91 to make it worth the money?

you need a separate donation for each receiver if you have them both on at the same time. There are many good channels worth having but you need to make sure you are still able to get signals as the footprint has changed (you need to live in the Gwn or be close to the border). The VS900hd is another receiver that is not easy to get up & going

Hi. I'm in exactly the same situation - I ran a CNX in the Bad Old Days and fell away when things got chaotic.

I just picked up a nfusion hd and would like to take a shot at bringing it up. I did not, however, get the remote with it. Can anyone recommend a universal remote that'll work, assume there is such a thing?

I'm pretty technical, so I don't expect setting up support for this thing will be too much trouble. I'm already running dd-wrt on a linksys. Can y'all direct me to the files, config instructions, and the iks?

Thanks very much.

Got what appear to be the files and setup instructions from the (wait for it...) files section. What does "NOI" stand for?
