Police have found the body of a child in the trunk of a car in Surrey, B.C., and arrested a woman.
Sgt. Jennifer Pound, media relations officer for the RCMP's Integrated Homicide Investigation Team, said the woman is believed to be the child's mother.
Shortly after noon PT, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a "suspicious circumstance" in the 13900 block of 35A Avenue of Surrey.
Police found a car stuck in a ditch in a rural area, according to Sgt. Dale Carr of Surrey RCMP.
