I just put a new hd module in and I got a cooling fan from a laptop I wan hook it up in my t5 to keep it cooler and was wondering were to hook it up so it shuts off with the powers any one have any pics on how that is hooked up

I would not recommend using the dreamlink to power the fan

Ya just put the blue hd module in with the heat sink on and maybe I could make it cooler

Buy a laptop cooler and place it under the unit, it will power from the usb. It will turn on and off with the reciever. My buddy shuts his off the rear when not in use, not only prevents heating but establishes a fresh connection each time you turn it on.
