Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Kings on Thursday claimed defenseman Randy Jones off of re-entry waivers.
The 28-year-old Jones registered an assist in six games this season with Philadelphia's American Hockey League affiliate in Adirondack.
In 47 games last season for the Flyers, Jones had four goals and four assists. The New Brunswick native had been with the Flyers organization since signing as an undrafted free agent in July 2003.
The Kings also placed defenseman Alec Martinez on injured reserve with an ankle injury. The move is retroactive to October 5.
